Hosted Cloud PBX

Your phone system in the cloud, your closet finally empty.

In shortTriton VoIP delivers hosted cloud PBX phone systems that run from redundant data centers instead of a server in your building. Extensions, auto-attendants, queues, voicemail-to-email, and mobile apps work across every site and remote worker, provisioned on managed handsets and supported by the parent company's IT team.

What does Triton VoIP deliver with a hosted cloud PBX?

A complete business phone system with the call-control platform hosted in redundant data centers instead of a server in your building. Extensions, auto-attendants, call queues, ring groups, voicemail-to-email, presence, call parking, and overhead paging run from the platform and reach every location the same way. Endpoints connect over SIP: desk phones from Poly, Yealink, and Cisco, softphones on Windows and macOS, and mobile apps that carry your business number on personal devices. Analog equipment such as fax machines, paging amplifiers, and door phones connects through analog telephone adapters. We provision, template, and label every handset before it ships, so deployment is plug-in-and-register rather than a configuration project on your floor.

Why move the PBX off-premises?

An on-premises PBX ties your phones to one building, one power feed, and one internet circuit. A hosted platform removes those single points of failure: if a site loses power or connectivity, inbound calls reroute automatically to mobile apps, another location, or voicemail with no lost caller. Moves, adds, and changes that once meant a technician visit become portal changes an administrator makes in minutes. Capital spent on PBX hardware and the upkeep of on-site voice servers becomes a predictable operating cost, and feature updates arrive on the platform without forklift upgrades. The result is a phone system that scales with headcount instead of with wiring.

How does a hosted PBX handle multiple sites and remote staff?

One dial plan spans every location. Staff dial short extensions between offices regardless of city or country, share auto-attendants and queues, and present a single main number to the outside world. Remote and hybrid employees register the same softphone or mobile app from anywhere with internet, so a home office behaves exactly like a desk in headquarters. Because the platform is worldwide, a company with sites across the United States and Europe runs one system rather than a patchwork of local PBXs, with centralized administration and reporting across all of it.

What does a cloud PBX engagement with Triton VoIP look like?

Discovery comes first: a fixed-fee assessment of your current system, numbers, call flows, and network. From there the work is scoped as a fixed-price milestone project covering design, number porting, handset provisioning, and a planned cutover, not an open meter. After launch, most clients continue on an ongoing managed program for administration, changes, and support, delivered by Triton Technologies, the parent company that has run business IT and networks since 2001. Service levels are defined in your agreement.

Hosted Cloud PBX: common questions

What is a hosted cloud PBX?

A hosted cloud PBX is a business phone system whose call-control software runs in a provider's redundant data centers instead of on hardware in your office. Your phones, softphones, and mobile apps connect to it over the internet, and features such as auto-attendants, queues, and voicemail-to-email are managed from a web portal.

Do we keep our existing phone numbers?

Yes. Existing numbers are ported to the new platform through the regulated number-portability process, so you keep every published number. Porting is planned around a confirmed activation date to avoid interruption, and we manage the paperwork with your current carrier.

What happens to calls if our internet or power goes out?

Because the PBX lives off-site, a local outage does not take the system down. Inbound calls follow pre-set failover rules to mobile apps, another site, or voicemail automatically. Staff can keep working from the mobile app on cellular data while the primary circuit is restored.

Can employees use their mobile phones as extensions?

Yes. A mobile app registers as a full extension and presents your business number on outbound calls, keeping personal numbers private. The desk phone and mobile can ring together, so staff are reachable on one number at a desk, at home, or traveling.

Do we need to buy special phones?

Standard SIP desk phones work, and we provision them before shipping. Existing compatible handsets can often be reused, softphones run on computers, and analog devices connect through adapters. We confirm what you already own during discovery and quote only the hardware you actually need.
